I thought about re-titling this one “The Month I Ate Every Single Thing in Dayton,” but decided to just pare the list down a bit instead. July was one VERY packed month and I had a great time eating and drinking all over town.
Vegan Joy at Tony & Pete’s

I really can’t say enough about how much I love Tony & Pete’s. The Vegan Cold Cut sandwich is a gift to all of us. A precious gift.

Plus, it’s fun to shop around and find unique things. We got a few cans of flavored chickpeas that made lunches at home for the week. My boyfriend picked up some fancy horseradish cheese. It was a great time.

Date Night at Sueño

We always have a great time at Sueño and this time was no different. We ordered several plates to share like we normally do. I ended up making my own tacos with an order of black bean dip and an order of tortillas.

We got a margarita and a Paloma. Sueño’s drinks are always amazing!

Somehow, we had a few potatoes and some black bean dip leftover, which made lunch the next day a treat.
Staycation Finale at Coco’s

This year, we couldn’t really justify the cost of going elsewhere so we decided on a staycation instead. Other than plenty of time at the pool, my favorite part was a gorgeous dinner at Coco’s.

Sips at Swoon Books & Wine

For a romantic little drink before going out to dinner one night, we went to Swoon. It was lovely and so nice to revisit.

Dinner and Beer at Eudora Brewing Co.
My friends and I went to a Friends of SICSA fundraiser at Eudora one night and had a great time eating tasty things and drinking tasty craft beer. Plus, I picked up a cute pet bed and some cat toys from the fundraiser sale.

They have some vegan items, which is so great—plus, it all tastes really good.
The beer is great at Eudora, as well. I tried Dad Pop (a light lager) 95% because of the name, and also love Dayton Rhapsody.
Still hungry? Check out my favorites from June.
