January’s Best Bites – My Favorite Meals at Dayton Restaurants

Things certainly slow down in the winter months, but I still got a chance to try some amazing meals and drinks in Dayton this January.

Cocktail at Swoon Books & Wine

Getting a chance to preview Swoon Books & Wine this month was a dream! I loved sampling the Paper Crane – featuring a tiny origami paper crane as a garnish. It’s giving Blade Runner Director’s Cut but like, make it rococo.

I can’t wait for Swoon to be open!

Wine at Felicity

This is a stop we make pretty frequently – it’s always nice to get that last glass before calling it a night. Felicity serves natural wines, plus cocktails, coffee, and beer.

The candlelit ambiance is exactly the right mood for a nightcap.

Guac at Fête

A little later one evening, we stopped in at The Silos and tried guacamole and chips from their new vendor, Fête. It was very yummy and we somehow had enough to take home and snack on even more later!

Mikey’s Late Night Slice Media Night

I know people have been so excited for Mikey’s Late Night Slice to open in Dayton and now I completely understand why. The pizza is perfect (and they have vegan slices available!) and they have a fun space, great drinks, and late night hours.

Dayton really needed a late night option like this and I’m so glad we have it!
