Have a Pizza Party at Mikey’s Late Night Slice in Dayton

Before opening its latest location, this Columbus-based restaurant already had so many fans in Dayton. I had a chance to preview this yummy new pizza place ahead of its grand opening. People have been excited for Mikey’s Late Night Slice to open since the word got out that it was on its way and it’s the perfect addition to downtown.

The Pizza

I was so very excited that in addition to several traditional pizza shop favorites, Mikey’s offers vegan pizza by the slice! I tried the Vegan Fake-ass BBQ Chick’n pizza and the Vegan Fake-ass Pepperoni. They were both AMAZING.

You can also order whole New York-style pizzas to share with a group or take home, including the option to create your own pie with whatever topping combo you love.

They have a sauce station as well as jalapeño and banana peppers to add to your slice.

The Drinks

In addition to pizza, this place offers their own line of ready-to-drink canned cocktails called Mikey’s Hooch.

Let’s do shots! Mikey’s has their famous unicorn shot that looks like a magic potion. It’s blue, sparkly, and incredibly sweet. My boyfriend and I split one just to try it out!

The bar is equipped to make you any drink you’d like. I got a paloma and loved it! And they serve a lager called Decent-ass Beer made specifically for Mikey’s Late Night Slice by Seventh Son Brewing Company in Columbus.

They also offer drinks in commemorative oversized mugs (perfect for 2-3 people – I feel like I should say that).

The Space

Located steps away from Dragons stadium, Mikey’s Late Night Slice is going to be a great spot to grab a slice after baseball games or anytime you need a bite to eat before calling it a night.
