Out and About Dayton in June

I had a great time all over Dayton this month!

Dayton Pride Festival

I always have the best time at the Dayton Pride Festival each year. This one was the busiest one by far – there were so many people there.

My favorite part is shopping the vendor booths. There are several local businesses represented and I always find great new jewelry and accessories.

Walking around the Oregon District

After Pride, we had a blast walking, shopping, drinking, and eating around the Oregon District.

The street was closed to vehicle traffic and we could just walk down the middle of the street. I know that some shop owners don’t love the street being closed to cars, but hopefully only doing it a little bit now and then is a good compromise for everyone.

We had a drink at Lily’s, shopped at Bonnett’s and Clash, and got DORA drinks at Toxic. It was a great time.

Drag Show featuring Akeria C. Davenport at MJ’s

I was rooting for Akeria’s bracket in the current season of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars, so I was pretty thrilled she came to Dayton!

The show was amazing and we got to sit so close to the stage.

If you want to get in on the fun, Dawn (also from this season of All Stars) is coming to Dayton at MJ’s on July 21, 2026.

Tiffany’s on Third Grand Opening

I still can’t believe we finally have a blow out bar in Dayton. I used to dream about it!

I had a chance to attend the ribbon cutting event before the First Friday festivities got started and it was magic. I can’t wait to get my hair done here soon!
