February was a busy month this year! Here are the highlights.
Galentine’s at Canal Street Arcade & Deli

This is the second time friends gathered at Canal Street for Galentine’s fun. It’s always a great time and the sandwiches are amazing!
Valentine’s Drinks and Books at Swoon Books & Wine

I can’t think of a more romantic way to celebrate Valentine’s day than sipping wine and shopping for romance novels at Swoon. My boyfriend treated me to a glass of rose and a copy of The Price of Salt by Patricia Highsmith, which was the inspiration for one of my favorite movies, Carol.
Galentine’s Nail Appointment at Nails on Brown

It’s always cute at Nails on Brown, but this visit was just a little sweeter with all the adorable Galentine’s decor. Also, check out my manicure in the top photo – those tiny hearts are so cute! See Sydnie for the cutest nail art.
Dinner Inside The Foundry Rooftop Igloo

I have wanted to book one of these reservable igloos for years and I’m so glad my friends indulged me. It was a lot of fun! Read all about it here.
Manhattan at The Famous Restaurant

When I visit The Famous, I usually order their signature Manhattan. It’s great and perfect for watching basketball at the bar.
Drinks & Music at Whisperz Speakeasy

I can’t believe it took me so long to visit Whisperz Speakeasy but now I’m hooked! The night we went, they had a great live band playing jazz standards. It was perfectly on theme and I loved it.
Buying Bread from Bakehouse Bread & Cookie Company

One afternoon in Troy, I decided to check out Bakehouse for some fancy bread to take home. I picked a salted pumpernickel and a baguette. They sliced them for me, which was super helpful. Almost immediately, I used the baguette to make garlic bread to go with pesto pasta. I can’t wait to try more from this place!
See what I got up to in December (January was very low key).
