I was invited to check out Bistecca’s drag brunch bingo and it was so much fun! It had everything I love about a drag show, just during the day with coffee, mimosas, and bingo! Here are my notes.

The Drag

Soy Queen performing at Bistecca

Bistecca works with Scarlett Moon Event Productions to bring fantastic drag performers to brunch. The show I went to was for Halloween and featured Scarlett Moon, Zhane Dawlingz, and Soy Queen with DJ Lukewarm covering the music the whole time. They each did 3 performances – all in Halloween costumes.

It was my first drag brunch (we just can’t get up and going that early normally – I have NO idea how these ladies get in full glam and then put on a show in the AM) and I had the best time. I’d love to go back!

I think my favorite part had to be when Scarlett Moon went allllll the way outside during her song and somehow kept lip synching without missing a beat.

The Brunch

There was a spread of scrambled eggs, roasted potatoes with peppers and onions, waffles, fruit, breakfast meats, and more.

Brunch pastries at Bistecca

You order whatever drinks you’d like and those are charged separately from the brunch you already paid for in the ticket price. They had a special on bottomless mimosas that most tables went for!

coffee and mimosa

Their coffee is great and so are the mimosas!

The Bingo

When they handed out the bingo boards and markers, I realized with everything else going on, I had totally forgotten there was also bingo to play. It was fun and there were some unique prizes handed out.

The Details

You can get tickets for drag bingo at Bistecca on their Open Table account under the Experiences tab. You can keep an eye on their Instagram for updates on events.

Bistecca offers a bottomless mimosa deal for your table – when I went it was $55 and it definitely looked like the big groups of ladies got their money’s worth! If you go with a group, it seems 100% worth it to spring for that.

Other than the time of day and presence of scrambled eggs and sunshine, this is a pretty standard drag show so bring your dollar bills and energy and get ready to have a good time!

Speaking of tipping, I loved that they gave out little sheets of paper with their Venmo so if you don’t have cash, you can tip the queens electronically.

Parking at Bistecca: There were plenty of street parking spots available in the morning and they also have a paid lot next door to the building that you can scan and pay if you prefer. It’s not owned by the hotel.

I’ve written about Bistecca before, and an incredible stay at Hotel Ardent. Or see a full tour I had of Hotel Ardent.
