May’s Best Bites – My Favorite Meals at Dayton Restaurants

May was a busy month yet I somehow don’t have a lot to show for it – I must have had my phone put away more than it was out! Here are some of my memorable meals.

Quick Bite at Mikey’s Late Night Slice

I absolutely love that we have a few places downtown for quick eats when needed – I’m a little later than I want to be more often than not… Mikey’s got us fed, a few drinks, and out the door in no time!

Spring Spritz at Swoon Books & Wine

If you haven’t stopped in at Swoon yet, you should definitely make it in soon. This place is so cute – and this was my first visit during the day. You can really appreciate all the pretty touches when you see it in the day light!

I tried a tasty, spring-y spritz and loved it so much. I can’t wait to go back and see what they have for summer.

Dinner at Bistecca

We were downtown and looking for a good meal when we decided to revisit Bistecca.

I must be in a spritz mood this month, because I tried one of their spritzes just like at Swoon.

I always forget that they use a fire grill for just about everything so all of the sides I ordered were smokey and delicious.

It was a delicious meal and we had the best time having a sort of impromptu date night.
