Wine tastings are such a great way to enjoy wines from all over the world without leaving town. Dayton wine bars, wine shops, and restaurants host a variety of fun tasting events throughout the year. Here are a few places to enjoy wine tastings in Dayton.
Joui
With unique tasting opportunities both in store as well as occasionally at Oak and Ember Farms, Joui takes wine tastings to another level. Keep an eye out on their social media (Facebook and Instagram) for tastings, meals, and other exciting wine events.
Ray’s
Why stand around sipping wine when you can enjoy a tasting experience from the comfort of home? Ray’s offers home tasting kits weekly, and you can see what’s coming up each week on their Events page and weekly email.
The Parlor
This year, The Parlor has hosted wine tastings with the goal of taking us all on a trip around the world with stops at several exciting wine regions. Keep an eye on their social media for information and sign up on their website.
Manna
Once a month, Manna hosts a wine tasting with a special menu to pair with the featured wines. Keep an eye on their social media (Instagram) for updates and subscribe to their newsletter to have all the details delivered to your inbox.
Silver Slipper
While Silver Slipper doesn’t host wine tastings per se, they do offer a unique chance to try a new-to-you wine for what they call Wine Roulette Wednesday. For $30, you can pick your favorite wine color and they will do the rest. Available to split with someone special or take it to go.
Press Coffee Bar
Recently, Press hosted a wine tasting event exclusively for members of their Perpetuo wine club. The best way to find out about upcoming tastings is to join their wine club, which in addition to perks like in-person tastings, also includes two bottles of wine each month.
Gather
In addition to occasional wine tastings (and tequila tastings!), Gather offers a weekly wine flight tasting menu to try whenever you’d like to stop in. The best way to know what’s in store is to visit and see what’s on the menu each week.
Lily’s
Occasionally, Lily’s hosts wine tastings – in particular, their popular Patio Pounders series. They post updates on social media so keep an eye out for these fun events and purchase tickets on their website.
Meridien
With a focus on food and drinks from around the world, Meridien occasionally hosts wine tastings in addition to other unique events – check out their social media and Events page for information and to purchase tickets.
Jayne’s on Main
Not only does Jayne’s offer occasional wine tastings, they also host a wine tasting class each month that covers how to taste wine like the pros. Keep an eye on their social media for their weekly events.
Zinks Meats & Fine Wines
Zinks hosts wine tastings as well as occasional bourbon tastings – keep an eye on their social media for updates and their Events page for details.
Rumbleseat Wine
Both Rumbleseat’s monthly women’s-only wine tasting and monthly wine class are on waitlist only, but you can reach out on their website for updates in case that changes.
