If you’ve ever been summoned for jury duty in Dayton, you know that if you’re selected, you’ll have to make an important decision: where to walk to lunch. (Ok, it might not be as important as guilty/not guilty, but it’s up there.) Each of these restaurants is a 10 min walk or less from the courthouse and will make your day in court that much more interesting.
Flying Pizza
Nothing goes better with justice than delicious, New York-style pizza by the slice. The line goes quick at Flying Pizza, so you could have time to enjoy a longer walk before heading back to the courthouse.
Grist
You might be in a hurry, but at least at Grist you can enjoy food made with intention. Their menu is full of delicious options that you can eat on the go or stay and enjoy.
Olive Mediterranean Grill
Olive is the perfect place to grab lunch, especially if you’re in the mood for an entire plate of delicious Mediterranean favorites.
1Eleven Flavor House
After eating at 1Eleven, you might not want to go back to court, but it’s your civic duty, after all. Make sure to let them know you have a firm time to get back and get some fried okra to snack on for the walk.
