Although the cultural practice of afternoon tea originated in England in the 1800s, many people in the United States get to enjoy this traditional mealtime as a special treat. Typically served in the afternoon between 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm, afternoon tea often includes small sandwiches and cakes arranged on a tiered stand and, of course, tea – brewed from loose leaf tea and poured from a tea pot. Looking for a place to share a pot of tea while catching up with a friend? Look no further than these great places in Dayton!
