The Dayton Restaurants I Dream About

It’s no secret: I love to eat. A good portion of this blog is all about it. So, if you happen to catch me lost in thought, there’s an above average chance I’m dreaming about one of these Dayton restaurants.

Wheat Penny Oven & Bar

I’m not sure what else there is to say about my love for Wheat Penny. I love veggies and Wheat Penny gets them so, so right. Everything they make is so flavorful and it’s amazing to get a full meal of veggies and feel full after. Their cocktail and wine menu are divine. I just love everything about this restaurant.

Tony & Pete’s

If you don’t have a lot of time on your hands, don’t get me started on how good Tony & Pete’s is. The Vegan Cold Cut sandwich is the stuff dreams are made of. Every ingredient is special. Then there’s the experience of going to Tony & Pete’s – I love their retail section, drinks, wine selection – everything.

Meadowlark

With Meadowlark being the sister restaurant to Wheat Penny, it comes as no surprise that I also dream about this amazing place. I love so many things about the menu, the wine selection, the cocktails, the service. The staff are really helpful in making sure things are vegan or vegetarian. It’s just such a wonderful place.

Ugly Duckling

I don’t know about you, but I am hanging on by a thread waiting for the return of Ugly Duckling. I love their vegan breakfast burrito and can’t wait to sit down to another one soon.

If you want to get me out of the house, an invite to Sueño with a nightcap at Tender Mercy will definitely do the trick. The ambiance, flavors, and whole experience of going to these places always makes me happy.
