Play Bingo for Charity at Yellow Cab Tavern in Dayton

If you’re looking for a way to have some fun on Tuesday nights while making a difference for local nonprofit organizations in the Dayton area, try bingo nights at Yellow Cab Tavern.

Every Tuesday at 6:30 p.m., you can try your luck with a few rounds of bingo and all of the funds raised from the bingo boards as well as a portion of bar sales goes to the nonprofit of the evening.

How It Works

When you arrive, you can purchase the use of however many bingo boards you can handle. I just barely have the attention span for two boards, so that’s how many I play each time. The charity runs this table and often have raffles for prize baskets as well as items available for purchase to raise additional funds. Not all nonprofits can take credit card, so make sure to bring cash.

Once bingo starts being called, it goes fairly fast. They do several rounds and go from standard, single line bingo all the way up to filling the board. I’ve won twice now on the picture frame round!

The Food & Drinks

Yellow Cab has a full bar, good wine, and local craft beer on draft. Pizza Bandit has you covered for dinner with their yummy pizza (they even have vegan!)

Navigating the boards while eating can be a challenge, but it always somehow works!

The Prizes

If you win a round of bingo, you get a $10 gift card to Yellow Cab or Pizza Bandit! Of course, the real winners of the evening are the people or animals that these amazing nonprofit organizations serve in the Dayton area.
