Shopping local this month was a lot of fun. I had some gifts to pick up and definitely had a great time finding things for me as well.
Berets at Brim
Brim periodically hosts Customer Portrait Day, where customers can wear their favorite Brim purchases (or make new ones) and get a professional photo taken by photographer Aaron Pascal.

My friends and I are big fans of Brim and decided to join in this time. We had a lot of fun and love the way our shots turned out! We decided to buy new berets for the occasion to get ready for fall. I also made sure to wear some of my favorite earrings purchased at Brim!
Heart Mercantile 10th Anniversary

So I can’t show everything I picked up at Heart Mercantile because so much of it was gifts but I finally grabbed a Pride shirt I had my eye on. Plus a hand lotion, several cards, and more.

And outside they had vendors set up and I bought a new scarf from Sugar Camp. Right after the No Kings protest, I was at Trolley Stop and looking at my phone. A woman came up to me and said “I like your scarf! It says ‘Resist’ and it’s so subtle!” I looked up to thank her and she was wearing an enormous plush crown with a big crossed out circle attached as well as a floor-length cape. I said “you like that it’s subtle??!” She absolutely made my day!

Clash Thrift Haul
I can’t be trusted in a thrift store and Clash is definitely one store where I find so many amazing items. On this visit, I found a great clutch purse and a very sparkly aqua sequin dress.

See what caught my eye in September.
