With the Shopping Tours earlier this month in the Fire Blocks and the Oregon District, I definitely ended up with a fun assortment – plus some online purchases that I had to have!
My Downtown Dayton Shopping Tour Haul
Leading the tours meant I didn’t do quite as much shopping as I might have done otherwise, but I still managed to score some great stuff from local Dayton shops.
- (Not pictured) I refilled a jar full of Little Seed Farm natural deodorant (the Activated Charcoal scent is amazing) and another container with spearmint tooth tabs at Reduce & Reuse Refillery
- A gem-shaped purse from Heart Mercantile
- A US v Bruce Springsteen hat also from Heart
- Cat food, treats, and shark toy from Wild Whiskers
- Eyeglass cleaning kit from Modern Eye
- Close Encounters by Steven Spielberg from Mike’s Vintage Toys (I didn’t know Spielberg wrote books!)
- Coupons from Onyx & Ash, Wild Whiskers, and Omega Music for future shopping
Frownies Facial Patches & More
I only recently found out that Frownies is not only locally owned and operated, it’s also a family-owned company since the 1800s. That’s pretty amazing! I bought a starter kit to try a few things out. I’m not brave enough for botox, so this sounds like a less needle-y alternative!
Brainiac by Justin Vellucci
This is the first in a series of books about bands and it just happens to be about local band, Brainiac. I’m looking forward to reading this one – even if my TBR list won’t stop growing!
