May had lots of great shopping opportunities around Dayton – here’s what I found.
Book Shopping at Bonnett’s

For my boyfriend’s birthday, we made a trip to Bonnett’s in the Oregon District for some book treasure hunting.

This shop is the perfect place to find all kinds of great, affordable books. Plus, you can find things you didn’t even know you were looking for.
Thrift Shopping at Clash

I always find something unique at Clash every visit and this time was no exception. I happened to find this amazing beaded top that I can’t wait to wear. The instructions say it can’t be washed or dry cleaned, so it will have to wait for a little cooler weather.

I also found this bananas brooch of a dog with giant eyes. I just know I’ll have the perfect place to wear this one day.
Charm Shopping at Heart Mercantile

Before the news broke about Heart making the decision to close up shop, I was there looking for charms to use in my keychains (buy one here – proceeds go to Miami Valley Meals).

I plan to keep shopping here as long as I can! I will miss it so much when it’s gone, I can’t even imagine Dayton without Heart.
Gift Shopping at Maraluna

We always find the best gifts at Maraluna. They have so many unique items from all over the world.

And Reduce & Reuse Refillery has a section of the store, which makes it even easier to remember to refill things.
See what I found in April.
