No-spend January? Never heard of her. Here are my favorite finds from shopping local this January.

Heart Mercantile Haul

I had a great time shopping at Heart for some Valentine’s accessories and I even found a new necklace in the clearance section. For some reason, people don’t want a ‘666’ angel number necklace. No idea why. Some things are just a mystery.

But in all seriousness, I don’t know if I place a lot of stock in things like angel numbers, but I have to admit I have seen ‘666’ absolutely everywhere I look lately so I looked it up. Evidently, if you see that number a lot, it’s a sign that you should reflect on the important things in life – the things that really matter. I like that, and since it’s not appearing on my skin or anything, I’ll assume I’m not getting some late-in-life sign I’m the antichrist.

Ring from Brim

My friend recently showed me an amazing ring she got at Brim so naturally I had to get one, too. One Saturday morning we went to Brim and I managed to try on every single ring between petting Button, the shop dog dragon.

Necklace from Riley Street Merchants’ pop up at MidDay Coffee

It doesn’t take much to make me want to shop, but the promise of delicious coffee paired with a chance to pick up some new Riley Street Merchants goodies absolutely got me out and about. I found a gorgeous pink double Gem City necklace that I love. And I had a great latte at MidDay.
