When was the last time you enjoyed lunch in a stately, Victorian mansion? Chances are you haven’t – until now! The Dayton Woman’s Club was founded in 1916 and is celebrating their 100th anniversary this year. Did you know Dayton Woman’s Club is open to the public for lunch Wednesdays from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.? Head downtown for a tasty lunch in a gorgeous, historic atmosphere reminiscent of the Victorian era.
The Atmosphere
The dining room looks straight out of a Victorian period film, down to the elaborate antique china and silver place settings. In fact, the restrooms, hallways, sitting rooms, and alcoves all look exactly as you can imagine they would have 100 years ago.
The Food
The menu changes periodically and offers plenty of sandwiches, entrees, salads, soups, desserts, and more. Find out about reservations, carry out, and preview the menu on their luncheon page.

The DWC also has special events and tours open to the public throughout the year. Keep an eye on their social media for information or check out their events page. Reservations for their special events are required.
The Details
Parking for lunch is on the side of the building. They always appreciate a call ahead to know you’re coming for lunch, although reservations are not required. Plus, they can accommodate a larger group other days of the week for private events.
If you’re looking for a quiet spot for lunch downtown, you should definitely try the Dayton Woman’s Club and help them celebrate 100 fabulous years in Dayton!
