In addition to shopping for Christmas, December happens to by my birth month, so I tend to have a bit of a “one for you, one for me” shopping style all month long. I especially love all of the great holiday markets in Dayton, which you’ll definitely see below.

Statement Necklace from Riley Street Merchants at Holly Days

Riley Street necklace

I have been looking forward to seeing Riley Street Merchants’ larger pendent necklaces for a while now and I was really excited to get a chance to pick one at Holly Days. Plus, she threw in a beautiful, custom ornament (thank you so, so much!!)!

Pink Sweater from Desert Roots at Holly Days

pink sweater

This sweater is adorable and I already can’t wait to wear it for Galentine’s this year.

Aye Aye Towel from Pink Moon Goods at Holly Days

aye aye design towel

I had my eye (eye) on this beautiful aye aye towel at Pink Moon Goods and when I saw it at Holly Days, I took it as a sign that I had to go for it. I’ve been a fan of these weird little primates since I did a paper on them in college.

Climber Earrings from Rusty Clementine at Handmade Holiday

earrings

These sparkly little earrings are so cute and I love the climbing effect when you flip them that way on your ear.

Candle from Base Camp

candle from Base Camp

I may have thought about gifting this candle but in the end, it smelled like Christmas so I decided I had to use it myself instead. The scent is Peppermint Pine and it has ozone in the mix as well, so it’s just really refreshing and fills the room.

Handmade Purse from handyjan at Handmade Holiday

purse

My friend and I zeroed in on these purses by handyjan almost immediately after getting to Handmade Holiday this year. She picked a textured one that looked amazing and I couldn’t pass up this cross stitch one here salvaged from an old tablecloth. I absolutely love it!

Reclaimed Notebook from Upcycling Librarian at Holly Days

upcycled notedbook handmade in Dayton

One of my favorite memories of visiting my great grandma was reading so many of her Readers Digest editions from the 60s and 70s. I especially loved all of the amazing (groovy?) covers. The Upcycling Librarian turns these old tomes into functional notebooks and I absolutely love the one I snagged for myself at Holly Days.

Weezy’s Garlic Haul from Handmade Holiday

Weezy's Garlic seasoning blends

These spice blends and dip blends from Weezy’s Garlic are amazing for when I don’t want to mess with figuring out how much of what to put on my roasted veggies, potatoes, etc. I always stock up each year at Handmade Holiday at Yellow Cab!
