DAI Oktoberfest 2026 Ticket Giveaway + BOGO Code!

We had such a great time giving away a pair of tickets for the Dayton Art Institute Oktoberfest last year that it only made sense to do it again!

How to Enter the Ticket Giveaway

If you’re over 21 and live in the greater Dayton area:

• Already a subscriber? Find one of my newsletters in your inbox, hit reply, and let me know you’d like to enter.
• Follow @daytonartinstitute on your preferred social media platform.

I’ll draw a name using a randomizer tool on Friday, September 18 at noon and let the winner know they’ve won.

I’ll work with the winner to get the tickets to them ahead of the festival. I could mail them to you or coordinate a pick up.

How to Get BOGO Tickets

• Go to DAI’s Oktoberfest ticket page
• Add a minimum of two general admission tickets to your cart
• Go to the cart page and enter GIRLABOUTDAYTONBOGO in the Discount Code field

What Makes DAI’s Oktoberfest Special?

This festival features beautiful surroundings and views at the Dayton Art Institute, great food trucks, tasty beer, and artisans selling their beautiful works of art.

DAI’s Oktoberfest is also the longest-running Oktoberfest in southwest Ohio, getting its start in 1971. That’s 55 years of Oktoberfest in Dayton!

Best of all, more than any other DAI event, this one helps the most to fund the museum all year long.

Fun Fact: The winner of my ticket giveaway last year also won the women’s steinholding competition! She’s Amanda DeLotelle, the Executive Director of Miami Valley Meals! After meeting through the giveaway, she invited me to a Chef’s Table opportunity to tour Miami Valley Meals and try a meal myself. I loved learning all about this amazing organization.

What is Oktoberfest?

Oktoberfest is originally an annual festival in Munich, Germany that lasts for two weeks, ending in October. Today, this festival is replicated all over the world as a celebration of Bavarian culture, beer, food, and community fellowship.

DAI Oktoberfest Details

Dates:
Preview Party: Friday, September 25 (Special preview party tickets required) 7-11 p.m.
General Admission: Saturday, September 26 12-11 p.m.
General Admission: Sunday, September 27, 2025 12-7 p.m.
Gates close 30 minutes before the end of the event each day.

Location: Dayton Art Institute, 456 Belmont Park North, Dayton, Ohio

Parking: 

• Free parking is available at the UD lot on River Park Drive (between Patterson Blvd and Main St behind the UD Marriott
• From there, hop on the free Oktoberfest shuttle that takes you right to the event.
• Downtown option: Greater Dayton RTA is also offering free shuttles from downtown to Oktoberfest on Saturday and Sunday.
