It was another banner month of great local shopping finds in Dayton. This month, I notice that all of these are from online shopping!
Twisted River Coffee
I love Twisted River’s coffee and had to try their Anniversary Blend to celebrate their 9 years roasting coffee in Dayton. I loved both roasts – it made getting up and going this month a little more fun, for sure!
Pressed by Makk Starter Kit
This kit from Pressed by Makk was so fun to receive and work through. I found my nail sizes, checked out a few colors, and explored nail shapes and lengths. I was very surprised how much I liked some new-to-me shapes like coffin and ballerina. Before receiving the kit, I thought for sure I would only be interested in almond (my go-to shape). Now I need to think about a custom design, any ideas?
Lost Ohio by Andrew Walsh
I’m so looking forward to diving into this book as soon as I finish the one I’m currently reading. I’m a big fan of Andrew Walsh’s blog about Dayton history, Dayton Vistas, so I have a feeling I will really enjoy this read. Check out his amazing article with Sam of Riley Street Merchants all about the Diner on St. Clair building.
Embroidery Kit by The Savage Stitcher
My friends and I bought embroidery kits from The Savage Stitcher and had a lot of fun doing our very best to create our little masterpieces. I didn’t do so great, but I had a good time, drank some prosecco, and tried to make friends with an orange kitten. I call that a crafternoon success.
