This year’s drought followed by an extreme storm will likely keep us from enjoying sunflower fields and leaf peeping in 2024. Thankfully, there are fun fall activities going on at a few local farms in the region. If you need me, I’ll be sipping some apple cider.

Monnin’s is cash only and make sure to check their Facebook for the most up-to-date information on the hours/days for U-pick. They have a farm market to browse as well when you’re done picking apples or pumpkins.
Peifer Orchards

Peifer Orchards has a weekly crop report that you can subscribe to for all the latest info on what’s available for purchase at the orchard. Their farm market has lots of fall favorites, including apple cider they make in house.
Young’s Jersey Dairy

Young’s Dairy offers pick your own pumpkin, a corn maze, plus ice cream and treats and all of their usual activities like mini golf, driving range, batting cages, and more. They also have a carousel that features cows and horses.
Irons Fruit Farm

Weekends at Irons this fall feature live music, food trucks, and a pumpkin patch. They also have a farm market with fall produce, plus lots of pies and other baked goods.
Tükens Orchard & Farm Market

Tükens offers pick your own pumpkin, u-pick apples and pears, plus they sell other squash and gourds for fall recipes. They have a corn maze and their farm store offers preserves, gift items, and more. Check their Facebook for updates.
